Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Join our team as an Assistant Accountant and take on a critical role in driving performance for our business. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial reporting and accounting of key business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial reports and accounting records for key business units
  • Support month-end related tasks, including weekly and monthly financial reporting and month-end close activities
  • Process journals, transactional reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Develop analytical skills through preparing labour reports, WIP analysis, and job costing reports
Requirements:
  • Accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
  • Strong understanding of a complex multi-entity P&L
  • Industry experience in Construction, Civil, or project-based environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to shape positive working relationships
  • Flexibility in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
