We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team at the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics NT.
About the RoleAs a Senior Project Engineer (SP2), you will provide expert technical advice, management, and leadership in driving the engineering design process for Darwin's AROWS project or delivering masterplans and staged infrastructure strategies for the MASDP civil and marine works and supporting projects.
This is a senior leadership role that will utilize your ability to lead and deliver complex work programs, manage major contracts, develop and maintain collaborative partnerships, and provide critical analysis and advice on the integration of engineering activities into other work streams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and provide expert technical advice to support the delivery of complex activities
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships
- Provide project and contract management support for the AROWS scheme
- Contribute to and/or conduct complex investigations, challenging operational and construction model problems, and recommend solutions
You will need to demonstrate strong project and contract management skills and high-level knowledge and experience coordinating complex, multi-disciplined civil infrastructure projects, with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities.
High-level written and oral communication skills, and the ability to prepare design, procurement, and project management documentation are essential.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive remuneration package, inclusive of 11.5% superannuation, 6 weeks' recreational leave, 3 weeks' personal leave, up to 17.5% annual leave allowance, and additional paid leave to cover the Christmas – New Years' Day shut-down.
