Event Administration Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Administration Assistant to join our team at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, delivering one of Australia's largest annual events, the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Sydney Royal Arts & Crafts Competition. Key responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service, performing office administration tasks, handling data entry for awards and exhibitor records, and assisting in physical tasks related to event setup and teardown.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to exhibitors and patrons.
  • Administration: Perform office duties, including word processing, maintaining spreadsheets, and updating presentations.
  • Data Entry: Handle award and exhibitor records.
  • Event Support: Assist with physical tasks related to event setup and teardown.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Background in administration, event management, or hospitality.
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
