About the Role

As a Personal Carer, you will provide essential care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. You will spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes and assisting them with daily activities.

  • Providing in-home personal care, including daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities.
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence (green provisional minimum).
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work (third-party property minimum).
  • Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
