Baresque Group is a leading manufacturer of premium wallcoverings, furniture, and acoustic solutions. We are seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new products for international manufacture. This will involve working closely with our engineering department to ensure successful product development and release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer new products and materials for international manufacture using Solidworks 3D modelling.
  • Manage the development process from start to finish, with guidance from the manager.
  • Create 2D drawing packages for manufacture using Solidworks.
  • Prototype and test new products, with a focus on manufacturability.
  • Generate support documents, such as install guides and marketing collateral.
  • Organize and maintain shared product files within the company intranet.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Solidworks 3D modelling and 2D drawing.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or product engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools and machines.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and product development principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Ideal knowledge of CNC programming.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator.
