Job Title: Horticultural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced horticultural specialist to join our team in maintaining the garden and grounds of a state-of-the-art residential rehabilitation facility.

The successful candidate will work independently and in collaboration with residents to engage them in gardening activities, providing support and training as needed.

• Develop and implement gardening programs for residents, incorporating sustainable practices and environmental awareness.
• Provide supervision and guidance to residents participating in gardening activities, ensuring their safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain high-quality grounds and gardens through efficient and effective gardening practices.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• 2+ years' experience in horticulture and garden maintenance.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and clear speaking.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Able to handle sensitive situations with discretion and judgment.
• Ability to mentor and coach other team members.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse client groups.
