Warehouse Production Assistant

Our team is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist in the operation of our bulk container deposit scheme site in Tamworth.

As a Warehouse Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in collecting, sorting and storing recyclable drink containers. You will also be responsible for operating equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers, as well as using a forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers.

In addition to these tasks, you will operate a point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactions. Your duties may also include assisting in other activities such as housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse equipment.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Current valid Forklift Licence and experience working with forklifts
  • Experience working within a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Capacity to perform manual/physical tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently
  • Understanding of work health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment
