Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Rapid Access Hub team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising and directing nursing staff in clinical practice, and providing leadership and mentoring to the Nursing Team.

  • Acts as a clinical role model by providing the highest standard of direct patient care.
  • Supervises, directs and supports nursing staff in clinical practice.
  • Has experience and is able to take on a floor coordination role when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current AHPRA Registration;
  • Comprehensive clinical experience in anaesthetics/PACU;
  • Previous management/ANUM experience;
  • Experience in the leadership and management of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
