The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at Genesis Fitness. As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy and engaging group fitness classes to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver group fitness classes in Freestyle, Reformer Pilates, and Pilates Mat
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in your chosen field
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to our members
  • Meet the requirements for Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module, or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
  • Complete the Freestyle Instructor course if required
  • Hold a Working with Children's Check, Current Senior First Aid Certificate, Current CPR Certificate, and Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
  • Participate in in-house training and maintain relevant program certification
  • Hold current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body
  • Agree to undergo a police check as part of the employment process
  • Be driven to success with a friendly and can-do attitude
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends
