The Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team based on-site in Nepean. This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical works within the project. Day-to-day responsibilities include;
- Providing technical expertise in the planning and execution of mechanical works.
- Working closely with subcontractors and internal teams to coordinate project activities, address technical challenges, and keep the project on track.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Ensuring all mechanical works adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Your Responsibilities
We require a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, experience working on water treatment plants, or other water infrastructure projects, knowledge of construction methodologies, risk management, and project delivery frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Commitment to workplace health and safety, environmental, and quality standards is also essential.
