We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the ILC in Laverton. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced 24/5 operation and make significant contributions to site reliability, safety, and performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for general maintenance across site infrastructure and vehicles, supporting contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety systems. They will work closely with the Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to contribute to keeping the site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks on site infrastructure and vehicles
- Respond to work orders and carry out planned and scheduled maintenance tasks
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols including LOTO and Permit-to-Work
- Support contractor activities and ensure work is completed to standard
- Provide skilled labor support across a range of tasks
- Be available for occasional weekend work and infrequent on-call coverage
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Dual trade qualifications highly regarded
- Forklift license required
- Experience with power tools and general maintenance equipment
- Strong understanding of WHS, LOTO, and permit systems
