We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic Brisbane team at WSP Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing sustainable solutions that benefit both the community and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement remediation solutions across various sectors, including oil and gas, transport, manufacturing, and industrial sites.
- Conduct detailed environmental site assessments and analyse data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water.
- Support remediation projects by ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality fieldwork.
- Prepare thorough technical reports, such as Validation ESAs and RAPs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work with technical specialists and auditors to develop effective remediation measures.
- Mentor junior staff, assisting with project scoping, design, installation, and evaluation of remediation solutions.
- Build strong relationships with clients and help manage projects to ensure successful outcomes.
You will be a motivated professional with experience in contaminated site remediation. You will have a solid understanding of soil and groundwater contaminants and experience with remediation strategies. You will be familiar with WHS regulations and have hands-on experience in a similar role.
