About Our Team

Our Medical Workforce Unit is comprised of three distinct teams, including DiT Operations, Recruitment and Contracting, and Employee Services. This unit is responsible for the recruitment, credentialing, education, and ongoing management and support of doctors at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The Senior Employee Services Advisor plays a pivotal role in assisting the Employee Services Manager in resolving complex enquiries and identifying payroll errors. They are tasked with implementing corrective action where required to ensure accurate employee payments and maintain database integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transactional tasks within the HR system span the entire employee lifecycle, encompassing onboarding, contract renewals, salary and leave adjustments, EBA changes, and offboarding.
  • Changes to employee information, including personal details, parental leave, car parking deductions, and salary packaging deductions, must be processed efficiently.
  • Salary rates, leave entitlements, severance payments, allowances, and variations to salary are calculated accurately.
  • Employee applications for Parental Leave, Long Service Leave, and Purchased Leave are administered.
