Fowl Operations Supervisor

About the Role

This position oversees and coordinates farm operations, ensuring a safe, profitable, compliant, and sustainable business.

Duties include:

• Coordinating all farm activities for short and long-term objectives.
• Ensuring trained staff are available for specialist tasks.
• Undertaking serological monitoring and administering medications as required.
• Completing administration duties according to guidelines, including reports and documentation within specified timeframes.

This is a full-time permanent position, requiring weekend work. You will work closely with a small experienced team and report directly to the Breeder Operations Manager.

About you

• Prior experience in the poultry industry.
• Knowledge of animal welfare standards, legislative obligations, and health and safety policies.
• Self-motivation to work unsupervised and effective time management skills.
• Able to manage and direct staff, allocate tasks, and meet departmental objectives.
• Commitment to best practice standards.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
