OSH 2IC

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a 2IC (Second in Charge) in our Newport program. As a 2IC, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care.

• Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming)
• Support with ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations
• Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible
• Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend
• Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
• Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program

• You're passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude
• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you
• You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written
• You are looking for stable, permanent part time hours - up to 25 per week
• You are qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria
