Job Opportunity: Maintenance and Repair Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely maintenance action is carried out in all areas of the hotel, ensuring facilities are maintained as per standard operational and safety standard procedures to meet guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintenance and repair of building facilities, plant, tools, and equipment
  • Assistance with major projects where required
  • Completion of maintenance tasks within allocated timeframes
  • Identification and implementation of preventative maintenance, repair, and improvements to the building, grounds, and equipment
  • Efficient response to internal maintenance ticketing system enquiries
Requirements

To succeed in this role, we seek a results-driven professional with a can-do attitude and excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. A trade qualification and previous experience in a 4-5-star hotel environment (desired) are also essential. Full working rights within Australia are required.
