The Role

The primary purpose of this Warehouse Supervisor role is to oversee administration duties and internal communications. This supervisory position ensures the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the warehouse, including receiving, handling, and dispatching goods.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct stock checking for damage and discrepancies against invoices.
  • Oversee order picking, packing, and dispatching.
  • Manage return and credit processing.
  • Enter delivery slips, requisitions, and invoices accurately.
  • Communicate with delivery drivers regarding stock issues.
  • Operate and direct machinery use safely.
  • Complete pick reports, conduct audits, and participate in team meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Supervise staff to ensure safety and adherence to company policies.

Your Qualifications

  • Prior warehouse experience.
  • Administration skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and internal communications.
  • Leadership skills, with experience managing a team of 5-10 members.
  • Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and trolleys.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel preferred.
  • Understanding of distribution centre functions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Solid literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
