Senior Software Developer/Analyst

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer/Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, and supporting data-driven solutions using appropriate tools and interfaces.

Your customers may be internal or external and may extend nationwide. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide leadership and critical thinking into the technical design.

You will also carry out detailed data analysis on data from various disciplines and use this analysis to assist in developing solutions. Additionally, you will develop compelling proposals for customers to improve their products and coach and mentor more junior staff in technical capability.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage project scope, deliverables, and schedule, participate in teleconferences with stakeholders, and provide reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Act as a lead for key project deliverables, ensuring project strategy and scope is communicated and driven.
  • Liaise with customers/stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, providing leadership and critical thinking into the technical design.
  • Carry out detailed data analysis on data from various disciplines and use this analysis to assist in developing solutions.
  • Develop compelling proposals for customers to improve their products, coaching and mentoring more junior staff in technical capability.
  • Work with NEC team to improve technical and billing business processes.
  • Provide support to other projects across the business, acting as a technical advisor.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Significant experience with ETL using SSIS.
  • Experience with SSRS and other reporting toolsets.
  • Sound understanding of customer billing, contracts, and configuration management.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with C# and Visual Studio.
  • Advanced data analysis skills.
  • Experience with .Net (MVC), Java, csHTML, JSON, XML, CSV, version control, and API usage highly regarded.
  • Strong business analysis skills.
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Understanding of multiple business area disciplines such as IP Telephony, Cloud, and Networks.
