Job DescriptionThe Asset & Purchasing Officer plays a pivotal part in supporting the Information Technology Services team by managing the lifecycle of IT hardware and peripherals.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategically managing the asset lifecycle of IT hardware and peripherals
- Facilitating purchasing, overseeing lease settlements and asset returns
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset records
- Providing insights and reporting on asset expenditure
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes
This position involves working closely with vendors to develop collaborative supplier partnerships and negotiate effectively.
A strong understanding of asset management systems, processes, and lifecycle management is essential for this role.
About YouYou are an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in finance, procurement, or asset management.
We seek someone who can build strong relationships with vendors and provide excellent customer service to staff and students across the University.
