Job Description

As a Hospitality and Cleaning Specialist, you will provide vital workplace support to people working in isolated terrains. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality in remote sites, including gold mines, coal fields, oil rigs, and mining operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Kitchen Attendant: cleaning the kitchen, dish and pot washing, rubbish removal, restocking food items, cleaning equipment, mopping and scrubbing floors, chemical handling, stock unloading, cleaning dining rooms, restocking bar and drink items, vacuuming and mopping, till operation and serving drinks.
  • General Cleaning: cleaning offices, toilet blocks, tea shacks, rubbish removal, restocking and cleaning crib huts, chemical handling.
  • Housekeeping: making linen packs, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning toilets, changing bed sheets, making beds, restocking linen trolleys, dusting, mopping, vacuuming and other various tasks.

This is a challenging role that requires physical fitness and the ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen.
