Job Opportunity

Northern Star Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead our planning team and ensure the long-term growth and viability of our world-class Jundee Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning group, developing short, medium, and long-term mine plans to optimize life of mine, enabling business objectives for production and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct all planning activities, incorporating short, medium- and long-term planning requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Underground Team to deliver monthly, quarterly, and Life-of-Mine (LOM) forecasts and mining schedules.
Requirements
  • A qualified Mining Engineer with 10 years' relevant experience in the mining industry.
  • Holding a WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate is highly desirable.
  • Underground production and planning expertise with mining technology and heavy production equipment in a mechanized hard-rock underground mine.
