We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team in Perth, working on a +$2b iron ore project. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our capabilities and reputation in the Mining & Energy Major Projects sector.

As an Environmental Advisor, you will collaborate with talented professionals to drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities. You will be responsible for the overall collection of site data, managing permits and approvals, and conducting regular risk and compliance inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project induction and environmental management systems training
  • Develop and manage site environmental plans in accordance with legislation and company standards
  • Provide general environmental advice and support for site-based construction and operations staff
  • Conduct site audits and report outcomes and recommendations to Construction & Project Managers
About You

We are looking for someone with demonstrated knowledge and experience in environmental functional activities. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to effectively discuss concerns and recommendations to senior personnel.

  • 2-5 years of experience working as an Environmental Advisor/Consultant/Specialist, ideally with a minimum of 12 months in a site-based position
  • Comfortable working a 2/1 roster, point of hire is Perth
  • Experience in processing land disturbance GIS data, and proficiency using ArcGIS Pro
  • Knowledge of permits and approvals and conducting regular risk and compliance inspections
