Job Description

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to clients in their homes and within the community. Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Personal care assistance, such as showering, dressing, and bowel care
  • Manual handling, including hoisting and other physical therapy requirements
  • Domestic services and meal assistance
  • Community access and socialization

Your ideal attributes will include:

  • A strong passion for delivering exceptional client care
  • Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of our clients
  • An empathetic nature and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Higher care personal care and manual handling experience
  • A clear and strong communicator, both written and verbally
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and certifications:

  • Current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid certification, valid for three years, and CPR certification, valid for 12 months
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Employer)
  • Related qualifications, such as a Certificate in Disability, Aged Care, or Home and Community Care
  • Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia
