Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data squad, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing technology to ingest data from external sources into our data lake, ensuring quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data from external sources into our data lake
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all data sources
- Contribute to the development of our data stack, ensuring data is flowing and formatted for business insights
- Use Python, SQL, and DBT to transform data and make it available for analytics and reporting purposes
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate data into our Ruby on Rails powered product
- Experience with AWS services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Redshift
- Proficiency in programming languages Python, Ruby, and DBT
- Experience with data manipulation libraries and frameworks, including Pyspark
- Ability to manage technical requirements, definition through to implementation, performance verification, and monitoring
