About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Project Engineer to join our fast-paced and high-performing team at Field Mining Services Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite and office-based support to our project team, including cost control, Gantt updates, QA management, and technical engineering support.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing onsite Project Engineering support including cost control, Gantt updates, QA management, technical engineering support.
- Providing office-based (Mackay) Project Engineering support including quoting, tendering, building Gantt charts, pad layouts, lift planning & technical engineering support.
- Supporting our Project team to improve systems & site documentation.
- Contribute to winning & successfully executing projects.
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Project Engineering experience & a desire to build your skills in the project space.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- Be able to demonstrate conceptual, analytical and collaborative skills including the ability to solve complex problems.
- Well-developed computer skills including the use of word processing, MS Project and spreadsheets.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
