The Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide life-changing speech pathology services to NDIS participants in Barwon and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position, however part-time may also be considered.

No two days will be the same as a Senior Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence:

  • You'll work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres, using the social model approach.
  • You'll utilize evidence-based measurement tools and your skills in assessment to create therapy plans and provide life-changing speech pathology support to participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
  • You'll work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals.
  • You'll build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
  • You'll attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee, and laughs.
  • You'll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • SPA Registration.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Childrens Check.
  • Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred but not essential.
