Job Title: Trade Waste Driver

The Fairfield City Council's Waste and Cleansing Operations is seeking a full-time Trade Waste Driver. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating the city's waste trucks and collecting garbage from commercial areas, including council buildings and parks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate waste trucks and collect garbage from commercial areas;
  • Collect garbage from council buildings and parks;

Requirements:

A current HR driver's license;Experience in truck driving;Ability and willingness to learn;Ability to work unsupervised;

Benefits:

  • Permanent position with 38 hours per week;
  • Salary of $73,165.10 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation;
  • Overtime rates apply for public holidays;
  • A uniform is provided.
