\Job Summary\

This position reports to the Operations Coordinator and involves strategic planning, project management, and delivery of road, drainage, and associated infrastructure works.

\Main Responsibilities:\

  • Strategic planning and project management for infrastructure works\
  • Design and supervision of road and asset maintenance activities\
  • Developing and delivering annual programs for reseal, patching, and maintenance works\
  • Budgeting and financial oversight for infrastructure projects\
  • Providing technical and engineering support to operational teams\
  • Supervising operational staff and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements\
  • Liaising with contractors, consultants, community members, and government agencies\
  • Responding to customer requests and resolving issues\
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders\
  • Contributing to a positive and safe working environment\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices\\/ul\[h3]Requirements[/h3]\
    • \
    • Degree in Civil Engineering (Grade 11) or relevant tertiary qualification (Grade 10)\
    • Experience in road maintenance, bitumen/asphalt works, signs, linemarking, and contractor management\
    • Strong project management, budgeting, and contract administration skills\
    • Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS), environmental legislation, and risk management\
    • Class C driver's license and White Card\\/ul"
