Commercial Goods Transport Specialist

This role involves driving a truck to transport goods and materials between various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, and be able to operate single and double trailers safely.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and pick up general freight within the Melbourne metropolitan area and occasionally in regional areas.
- Prepare trucks for unloading/loading, secure loads, and perform vehicle pre-start checks.
- Effectively manage time to meet timeslots and report any defects or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Filling out daily worksheets and maintaining immaculate customer service standards.
- Comply with site requirements, MT DATA application, and company regulations.
- A current driver's license
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- The ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- An impeccable safe driving record
- Good communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- A positive attitude and understanding of COR principles
