We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role is a fixed-term contract for parental leave until November 2026, with the possibility of extension or permanence.
About the RoleThis position focuses on promoting health and wellbeing by empowering individuals to participate in daily activities. As a Community OT, you will work with various clients across community and residential aged care settings, providing support and enabling patients to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering services to Home Care Package clients, including home assessments, equipment prescription, and home modifications.
- Providing rehabilitation services post-orthopaedic surgery through our Rehab in the Home program.
- Supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries, through our Hospital in the Home program.
You must be a fully registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration. Experience in community and residential aged care settings, as well as rehabilitation, is ideal. You should be comfortable working independently and providing support in various care environments.
You will have a patient-centred approach and be passionate about improving health outcomes. As a mobile Community OT, you will require your own vehicle, and we offer kilometre reimbursement.
