Job Title: Principal SAP Security Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned expert in SAP security to lead the security aspects of our clients' projects and provide strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic SAP Security Advisory: Provide expert advice on risk management, security architecture, and compliance.
  • Project Leadership: Lead security-focused SAP projects, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring project deliverables align with security objectives.
  • Security Architecture Design: Design and architect secure SAP systems, incorporating the latest security best practices and technologies.
  • Security Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure SAP systems meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Security Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security training programs for SAP users and administrators, fostering a culture of security awareness.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with security technology vendors and SAP, ensuring access to the latest security solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to industry publications, speak at forums, and stay abreast of emerging SAP security trends and technologies.
  • Mentorship and Talent Development: Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and contribute to their professional development.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or relevant professional experience).
  • Proven experience as an SAP Security Consultant, preferably with SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP security administration, including user management, authorisation concepts, data privacy, and system hardening.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP security technologies such as SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP, SAP Gateway, and SAP Fiori.
  • Strong knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate teams, and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • An active NV1 AGSVA clearance or ability to achieve NV1 clearance.
