Job Title: Dairy/Freezer Department Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our dairy/freezer department, ensuring exceptional customer service and product presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team, maintaining high standards of customer service and product presentation.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, merchandising, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Partner with the team to achieve store goals and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Engage with customers to deliver outstanding service and support team members' growth.
  • Ensure compliance with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, WHS and Food Safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills that inspire and engage your team.
  • Strong stock management experience, with expertise in planning, merchandising, and attention to detail.
  • Energy, initiative, and a positive mindset, with a genuine passion for working with food and people (both customers and team members).
  • Flexibility to work full-time on a rotating roster across trading hours, including some early and late shifts, plus alternate weekends.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, WHS and Food Safety compliance.
  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout your shift.
