Agricultural Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Agribusiness Educator to join our team on a temporary basis.

• This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and dedicated professional to deliver high-quality training and assessment in agriculture.

The successful candidate will possess strong industry knowledge and skills, with the ability to develop and deliver industry-relevant training products and solutions.

• To provide high-quality teaching and assessment in agriculture, including the development and delivery of industry relevant training products and solutions;
• To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative and flexible learning options;
• To maintain current industry skills and knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
• To have current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
• To evidence undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment, including competency-based training and assessment;
• To have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a current Queensland Driver's licence;

1. To design and develop industry relevant training products and solutions that cater to the needs of students and industry partners;
2. To collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance training outcomes;
3. To maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and industry partners;

• AHC30122 Certificate III in Agriculture;
• Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
• Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
• Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment, including competency-based training and assessment;
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a current Queensland Driver's licence;
• One of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; or A higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by the employing organisation).

Please note that applicants need not necessarily possess teaching experience, as the right candidate may be trained and developed through coaching, mentoring and partnering.
