Deputy Head of Junior School - Wellbeing and Administration

The Deputy Head of Junior School - Wellbeing and Administration is responsible for supporting the Head of Junior School - Deputy Principal in the administration of the Junior School and pastoral care of its students.

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a high level of expertise and commitment to student wellbeing and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate Positive Psychology principles to realise the vision for student wellbeing and holistic approach to student care;
  • Ensure ongoing implementation and development of Positive Education curriculum and wellbeing initiatives in the Junior School;
  • Develop solutions-focused and flexible approach to responding to needs as they arise;
  • Foster positive relationships and collaboration among teachers and key stakeholders;
  • Work collaboratively within a team to achieve school goals and objectives;
  • Qualify with a degree in Education and registration with relevant authorities;
  • Hold postgraduate qualification in Wellbeing, Positive Education or similar field;
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team.
