Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Operator and Warehouse Labourer to join our dynamic team in Cannon Hill. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in warehouse operations and forklift management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and processing daily requisitions using an RF scanner with precision and accuracy.
  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to handle materials and products, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Unloading deliveries and conducting quality assurance checks on all received materials.
  • Participating in stocktaking and stock rotation activities to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of warehouse housekeeping, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
  • Ensuring high levels of safety, accuracy, service, and productivity in all aspects of the role.
About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or store environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management.
  • A current Forklift License and a valid Driver's License.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure.
  • An unwavering commitment to working safely at all times, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and manage inventory.
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and following policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • The ability to safely undertake the physical elements of the role, as determined by a pre-employment medical.
  • Previous experience in forklift operation and warehouse management.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize warehouse management software.
