We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Footscray Residential Aged Care Facility. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in social interactions
- Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition or behavior
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialization), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Recent demonstrated experience working within an Aged Care setting in Australia
- A passion for working in Aged Care and a sound understanding of the sector
