About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will play a critical role in creating an extraordinary client experience and helping our banking centers achieve their sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as a Single Point of Contact

You will act as the primary point of contact for a select group of affluent clients, using a defined sales process to develop and maintain a Private Client Banking book of business.

Driving Deposit Growth and Investment Revenue

You will identify and solicit clients using referrals, personal contacts, centers of influence, and existing clients, with the goal of achieving growth targets for your assigned book of business across deposits, wealth revenue, and consumer lending.

Utilizing Lead Calling Lists and CRM Tool

You will utilize lead calling lists and track individual and banking center activities and sales achievement on Webster's CRM tool to generate revenue and grow your book of business.

Developing Comprehensive Banking Solutions

You will develop comprehensive and personalized banking solutions and strategies to meet the needs of clients, working closely with the Consumer Banking, Business Banking, and Wealth Management teams.

Maximizing Team Profitability

You will work to enhance sales skills and product knowledge in the banking center, participating in outside organizations and the community to develop strategic partnerships and alliances.

Ensuring Compliance and Operational Risk Management

You will ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, managing operational risks and observing security policies in accessing, securing, and protecting confidential and sensitive client information.

Requirements

  • Financial Services Industry Experience

You must have at least 6 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on corporate, consumer, mortgage, investments, brokerage, or private client banking.

Sales and Service Techniques

You must be proficient in sales and service techniques, including telemarketing, book of business management, prospecting, and networking.

Investment Sales Experience

Investment sales experience is strongly preferred, as is FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63, 65, or 66 if required), and Life and Health Licensed.

Demonstrated Sales Experience

You must have demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals.

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience.
