Cloud Architect Job Description

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Strategy Team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, including architecture for microservices-based applications.
  • Create detailed architecture designs, including system diagrams, data flows, and deployment models.
  • Develop and deploy microservices architectures using Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Service Fabric.
  • Optimize microservices for scalability, performance, and resilience.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
  • Develop and maintain cloud architecture roadmaps and strategies to support business goals.
  • Ensure that cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, including identity management, encryption, and access control.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Service Fabric, and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in microservices development (e.g.,.NET, Java).
