We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Power Generation Technician to join our team in Mackay, QLD. As a key member of our service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our industrial customers' power generation equipment.

About the Role

">
  • ">
  • Perform regular maintenance activities on power generation products to ensure compliance with documented schedules and standards.">
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with Cummins generators and other manufacturers' equipment.">
  • Install and commission new gensets, transfer switches, and Digital Master Controllers (DMCs).">
  • Maintain and repair switchgear and battery systems.">

Requirements and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • A relevant and current electrical trade qualification from Queensland.">
  • A full unrestricted A-Grade Electrical License in Queensland.">
  • Desirable experience in a field service role or similar.">
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and knowledge of internal combustion engines.">
  • Proven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and accuracy.">
  • Advantageous but not necessary: understanding of HV systems and operations, Cummins PCC control systems, and industrial communication protocols and PLCs.">

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:
