Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer

We're building Queensland's future, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

CBGU JV is working on Queensland's largest infrastructure project, and we're committed to delivering a world-class rail system that will transform the way Queenslanders travel.

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing assurance frameworks to support the needs of our engineering streams and Test Lab.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Control Systems Assurance related documentation and process guidelines to support our business.
  • Effectively managing the definition, planning, and monitoring of Control Systems Assurance activities.
  • Ensuring our Control Systems Assurance and Governance regime is effective, with identified, documented, and approved processes that meet functional, governance, safety, and audit compliance requirements.
  • Managing relationships with project stakeholders, both internal and external, to suit our business needs.
  • Establishing and delivering projects, including setting up relevant systems.
  • Managing and monitoring project completion to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Preparing accurate Safety Assurance/System Engineering reports.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical, software, or systems engineering.
  • Systems Assurance/System Engineering/Configuration management/Interface/Coordination experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience as a Systems Engineer or 7 years' experience as a Senior Controls Systems Engineer.
  • RPEQ accreditation is a mandatory requirement.
