About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Service Consultant to join our team at Allianz Australia. As a Claims Service Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service and outcomes in relation to their claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and identify claims that do not fall within the scope of policies, to ensure the correct outcome has been made.
- Liaise with stakeholders to discuss outcomes and dispute resolution.
- Prepare and draft appropriate documentation to stakeholders when required.
- Develop customer relationships to understand and meet their needs, delivering a positive customer experience.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance guidelines, legislation, regulations, and court decisions, recommending policy changes for continuous improvement and compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated claims management experience in a complex customer service environment.
- The ability to optimise business value by delivering high-quality services and positive customer experiences.
- Technical knowledge of relevant insurance lines and associated legislation.
- High attention to detail and technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, and communication tools.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, adept at balancing understanding, empathy, and compassion with achieving optimal commercial outcomes for AAL.
