About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gymnastics Program Coordinator to lead our recreational gymnastics program. The ideal candidate will have experience in gymnastics coaching or program management and possess strong leadership and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily program delivery, ensuring smooth, safe, and engaging gymnastics classes for participants of all ages and skill levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families and gymnasts, responding to inquiries, providing feedback, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor gymnast progression, tracking development and maintaining a focus on both technique and enjoyment.
  • Mentor and support coaches, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure high coaching standards and a cohesive team environment.
  • Assist in the ongoing development and enhancement of the program, class structures, and training materials to ensure a world-class experience for all gymnasts.
  • Serve as a key communicator between families and coaching staff, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and progress.
  • Support with administrative tasks, including scheduling, class coordination, and maintaining program records.

Requirements:

  • Experience in gymnastics coaching or program management.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of coaches.
  • Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills, both with parents and staff.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • A genuine passion for gymnastics, teaching, and helping children succeed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • First Aid certification and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Gymnastics Australia coaching accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
