Head Of Audit Services

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our audit services in the Asia-Pacific region. This is a key role that will involve providing leadership and guidance to staff, defining performance expectations, and fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing multi-year risk-based audit plans, performing continuous monitoring across all activities and Northern Trust locations in APAC, and ensuring support provided by or to other audit teams is coordinated and appropriately covers the relevant risk areas.
The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in decision making and judgement based on strategy, structure, and understanding of business, risks, controls, and technologies. They will also have excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills, including presenting at board level and managing broad unstructured projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff
- Define performance expectations and foster an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication
- Execute multi-year risk-based audit plans
- Perform continuous monitoring across all activities and Northern Trust locations in APAC
- Ensure support provided by or to other audit teams is coordinated and appropriately covers the relevant risk areas
The successful candidate will require:
- Advanced proficiency in decision making and judgement based on strategy, structure, and understanding of business, risks, controls, and technologies
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional certifications (e.g. CIA, CPA, CA, or CISA) or an MBA along with demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (e.g. accounting, regulatory compliance, or operations)
