This is an exciting opportunity to work on the structure of a major $1BN+ commercial development in the Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design Management: Coordinate and manage design activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  3. Budgeting and Estimating: Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and reports to ensure accurate financial tracking and forecasting.
  4. Site Establishment and Planning: Oversee the planning and coordination of site establishment, including logistics, resources, and personnel.
  5. Construction Coordination: Coordinate and manage construction activities, including subcontractor management, programming, supervision, and contracts administration.
  6. Site Variations and Design Changes: Manage and implement site variations and design changes, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder.
  3. Proven experience working as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer on $50m+ new build projects.
  4. Strong experience with structures is essential.
  5. Previous experience managing subcontractors with programming, supervision, and contracts administration.
  6. Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety, and time requirements.
