Academic Leadership Position:

The Head of Secondary School is a senior leadership role responsible for providing academic, operational, and pastoral leadership to the Secondary School.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices, with the ability to lead diverse academic pathways while promoting student engagement, achievement, and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures
  • Providing strategic direction for the Secondary School
  • Building relationships with teachers, staff, and students to promote a positive school culture
  • Overseeing the management of resources, budgets, and staffing

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, contemporary knowledge of child safeguarding obligations and responsibilities, and a calm, supportive, and confident presence.

Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree in education, leadership, or a related field, and a current First Aid certificate.
