About this Opportunity

CQUniversity is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapy Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty at the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing our teaching initiatives and contributing to the development of future professionals in the field of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support undergraduate students in their academic and clinical pursuits
  • Develop and deliver profession-specific units that cater to the needs of industry partners
  • Coordinate academic and clinical units, ensuring seamless integration of theoretical and practical knowledge
  • Participate in collaborative research that enhances our undergraduate and postgraduate courses
Requirements
  • Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia/AHPRA
  • Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education
  • Proven research track record with the ability to contribute to research in the school
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a hospital or community-based health service in a relevant discipline area of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy
