Electrical Engineering Technician Roles Available

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Technicians to join our maintenance team in regional Queensland.

  • To succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing electrical engineering and maintenance systems.
  • You will also be responsible for reading technical diagrams and blueprints, troubleshooting electrical engineering control systems, performing regular checks, maintenance, and repairs on electrical equipment in piggery farm units.
  • Another key aspect of the job is ensuring 100% uptime of electrical engineering and instrument/control systems through preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics control systems or a related field is essential.
  • You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and control systems.
  • A proven track record of safety leadership skills and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace is crucial.
  • Experience working in farming environments, especially intensive animal production, would be advantageous.
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, would be beneficial.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based at Merivale Farms in Cooranga North, QLD. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors, and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
