This is an exciting opportunity to join the Queensland Government's Policy, Performance and First Nations team as a housing and homelessness strategist. You will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of effective strategies and policies to deliver desired outcomes for First Nations peoples and communities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing housing and homelessness strategies and policies.
  • Managing contracts to ensure appropriate service responses are delivered to customers.
  • Supporting the maintenance of management information systems and records management systems.
  • Providing evidence-based advice to senior managers through research, analysis, and data interpretation.

**Selection Criteria**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A current and valid Class C Queensland Drivers Licence is mandatory for this role. Occasional intrastate travel may be required, including overnight stays in remote communities.
