About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Anaesthetics team on a Full-Time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Evidence-Based Care: Provide patient-centered care that is grounded in the latest medical research and best practices.
  • Liaise with the Multi-Disciplinary Team: Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Ensure Patient and Staff Safety: Identify and mitigate potential risks to patient and staff safety, and take proactive steps to prevent errors and adverse events.
  • Deliver Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families to empower them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA Registration: Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards: Demonstrate compliance with the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care (ACQSHC) national standards for healthcare.
  • Sound Clinical Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills: Possess strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to Work Well Independently and within a Team: Possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • High-Level Organisational Skills: Demonstrate high-level organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in Anaesthetics: Possess experience working in anaesthetics, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of anaesthetic care.
  • Strong Clinical Skillset: Possess a strong clinical skillset, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a range of medical conditions.
  • Ability to Show Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to show initiative, with a strong focus on taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
