Job Description

This Occupational Therapy position is based at St Johns Calvary in Hobart. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting autonomous OT-specific assessments and interventions in accordance with professional standards. They will work as an effective member of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, providing coordination to the Occupational Therapy team as required.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive OT assessments and developing personalized care plans.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Providing leadership, support, and supervision to junior Occupational Therapists, students, and therapy assistants.
  • Participating in service development, planning, evaluation, and promotion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary rehabilitation, patient-centred care, and OT practice.
  • Ability to provide professional leadership, support, and supervision to Occupational Therapists, therapy assistants, and students.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current Driver's License.
